Quotable

The image “http://www.brainwise.org/Images/quoteOpen.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. No one can turn you completely upside down and inside out. You must accept yourself as you are, instead of as you would like to be, which means giving up self-deception and wishful thinking. -- Chogyam Trungpa

Just reading the first line of this I would disagree - my kitties can turn me all sorts of messed up with their purrs, their illnesses, their looks of happy and their looks of despair and their looks for help. As I watched Otis sleeping in the crate in the car with his "lampshade" on his head, it made my heart drop and I just want to take it all away and make his world right again. I want to do better by him, not that any of this is my fault or anything but you just want them to understand and trust you. I hope he is still capable of that after all this.

I think animal companions can be rightly excluded from that "no one" category.
