Is There Something Wrong ...

...with using an iced coffee to wash down one's supplements? Really, I'm just curious. I've been doing this off and on for a while now, but it only struck me today that it might seem a tad ... oh, I don't know ... in the wrong spirit? Counter-productive? Or, perhaps, one could consider caffiene to be a vital nutrient, so it it perfectly natural to use a swig of coffee when swallowing a vitamin. Any comments on this?

  1. Vitamins seem to be a natural healthy thing to do. Coffee is neither of those to me, so I would think it is wrong. Actually it also sounds gross too. Lastly, you can save money if you just use water (and not bottled either).

  2. I get what you are saying about natural and healthy (although coffee beans do grow naturally) ... but what about free coffee? At least, that so-called 'free to me' coffee that is available in the office.

I can't support you on the gross statement though. Vitamins really have no taste as they go down, and I'm getting used to the taste of coffee. It could even be that I enjoy it.

Oh, and you're right about avoiding bottled water. At least, purchasing a bottle of water. I just fill up my own travel bottle. That's been working out pretty well for me.
